It is bizarre to ask these questions; presumably after collecting these ideas the poster then goes off and does what everyone else has done. Imagination would be good though.

ps, try Edinburgh castle. There are some good curry shops too.

Re: Recommendations for a long weekend in Edinburgh
Why the fuck do people ask these questions on a West Ham website? It's Scotland, just go there and look around, if you're scared of walking into a fucking restaurant or a pub without knowing all about it beforehand you probably shouldn't be allowed to travel at all.

Re: Recommendations for a long weekend in Edinburgh
yeah get a flight to stockholm.

I spent 3 months working there in 2012. What a dreary shit hole. Shit cold windy weather. Bleak stone work. Rose St rubbish and the golden mile

Massively overrated city.

A visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia (out a Leigh.. 10 mins away) is well worth it - if that sort of thing floats your boat.

Mart.

I've still got an empty box of these somewhere, that I bought when me and my then girlfriend had a long weekend in Hamburg, back in the eighties. As you can imagine, we were crying laughing the first time we walked into a shop and saw a big rack of them. And it's full of little sweets shaped like the picture on the cover, too.
